Lights...Camera...

I finally got my new camera. It's pretty cool. I used it to take a few pictures this afternoon while we planted the lilac trees mom gave us. I'll be using it over the weekend at the BBQ we're going to on Sunday. I'll still bring all my regular gear, of course.

I also found the deer who has been eating up my front garden. Our little stray kitty, Orion, was trying to scare it off. That was kinda cute. When I brought the puppy outside, the deer just seemed mesmerized by her.

I also posted some pictures mom sent me of her incision. It's pretty nifty looking! She's healing a bit slower now. She had an allergic reaction to the surgical tape, so her neck puffed up even more than it normally would. She'll be fine though.
